La Loba Circle is an intimate online experience for 15 women journeying together through Clarissa Pinkola Estés' classic Women Who Run with the Wolves.

This is more than a reading group.

Across 15 encounters, we will explore the myths, archetypes, symbols and themes within the book through a Jungian-inspired lens, connecting the stories not only to what we read, but to our own inner lives.

The Journey

Each Thursday, for 90 minutes

We gather online to explore one part of the book together, moving through the same gentle rhythm each week.

🌙

Opening ritual & oracle

We begin by grounding ourselves and drawing an oracle card to accompany our exploration for the week.

📖

Myth & archetype

I will guide you through the central themes, symbols and archetypal ideas within the week's reading, helping us look beneath the surface of the story.

✦

Reflection & embodied exercises

Each encounter includes an exercise designed to move the story from something we simply read into something we can personally explore.

🌀

Active imagination

We will work with images, symbols and inner experiences that arise through the stories, using active imagination as a way of deepening our relationship with them.

💬

Sharing & sisterhood

There will be space to share your reflections, questions and experiences with the story, discovering how differently the same myth can speak to each of us.

🎨

Your symbolic vision board

Throughout the four months, you will collect images, symbols, words and ideas that emerge naturally from your reading. Together, these become a personal visual map of your journey.

What You'll Receive

Alongside our live encounters

A few resources to support your exploration, not to give you more work to do.

Weekly handouts

Key themes, words and reflection prompts to accompany each reading.

Guided meditation

A meditation you can return to throughout the journey.

La Loba Journey Guide

A small PDF with suggestions for approaching the book, working with symbols and making the most of your experience.

Weekly symbolic prompts

Gentle invitations to notice the images, dreams, feelings and associations that arise as you read.

Private WhatsApp Circle

A space to stay connected with the group between encounters, share reflections and feel supported throughout the journey.

You don't need to know anything about Jungian psychology, mythology or symbolism before joining. You simply need curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Your Guide

Natasha Matos

I am a Social Scientist with a background in social sciences and a Master's degree in Jungian and Post-Jungian Studies.

For more than ten years, I have explored self-development, holistic approaches, mythology, symbolism, mystical traditions and the inner world.

I created Alchemyssa as a space for women who want to understand themselves more deeply, not by becoming someone else, but by learning to listen to what is already within them.

La Loba Circle is my invitation to explore this together.
Woman to woman. Story to story. Symbol to symbol.

The Book

What is Women Who Run with the Wolves?

Clarissa Pinkola Estés' Women Who Run with the Wolves explores traditional stories and myths through a psychological and symbolic lens, focusing on themes of instinct, creativity, relationships, transformation and the feminine psyche. Within La Loba Circle, we will use the book as a starting point for our own exploration.

We aren't simply asking

“What does this story mean?”

We are also asking

“What does this story awaken in me?”

The Myth at the Heart of the Circle

A space to gather what has been scattered

La Loba is the bone woman. She walks through the desert gathering what has been scattered, collecting the bones of the wolf until she has gathered enough to sing life back into them.

This is the image at the heart of our circle.

What if self-discovery isn't always about becoming someone new? What if sometimes it is about gathering ourselves back together?

The forgotten dream. The silenced desire. The instinct we stopped listening to. The parts of ourselves we left behind.

La Loba Circle is an invitation to explore those things together.

Woman to Woman

In circles like this one, women have always gathered to listen, to remember, to be seen.
